Harvest Festival

11th October.  The church was once again beautifully dressed for our traditional harvest festival.  Our harvest gift will be sent to the Mary Thompson fund to help those seeking asylum in our town.

Harvest Festival at Durham Lane Primary School

What a great time we had at Durham Lane Primary School celebrating the harvest.  The pupils and staff worked so very hard to make a wonderful harvest display.   As well as thinking about people in other lands who might be in need we thought about people in our own town who had no money to buy food.  The children and staff were incredibly generous and brought many gifts that were to be taken to the food bank in Billingham.  It was such a privilege to share this celebration with them.
